Another relaxed gig. We seemed to have found some bona fide regulars, which is really nice.

Michael did some astonishing stuff with the RTR theme from 1983, and a Rowan Atkinson ad for appletizer ("fish heads!"), while I took the riposte with a dub out of Mike Oldfield's soft-cock hippy classic Moonlight Shadow and Taco's immortal cover of Irving Berlin's 'Putting on the Ritz'.

Amongst the silliness were several originals, including Michael's combination of acid house and the Mighty Boosh (which in fact go together incredibly well), and I did my usual thing with Eastern music samples combined with glacial breaks.

It's worth pointing out that this was our 12th appearance as Malty Media in the past 8 months. Not that this qualifies us as the hardest working men in show business, or anything, and it certainly isn't a signifier of fame and fortune, but it is an achievement of sorts, and we feel satisfied with how things are going.

More, naturally, to follow. By my calculations, on August 6.
